I’ve been using my own 10-project planner for over a year and it really works. But it’s also really basic as well as being really high maintenance. While I was looking for a word-count progress meter (see below and in sidebar… also below on mobile devices), I think I found a new one.
On Monday, Day 1 of NaNoWriMo, I finally got around to trying it out.
And it really is lovely. Seamless. Easy to use. And all I have to do is:
- Choose how long I think the project is going to take me (1 month, 2 months, 3 months, etc, to 6 months)
- Insert the start date and number of days
- Insert the target word-count
Because NaNoWriMo is a 1-month project, I chose the 1 month tab, duplicated it, and named it. Here’s how it looked at the end of Day 1:
November is a bit busy for me to learn how to tweak it too much, so I’m going to leave this one as it is for now and keep using my old one to keep track of my ghostwriting.
If you want to have a look, here’s where I found them.
I wrote 2,725 words on Day 2.
5,280/50,000 words. 11% done!
How is everyone else doing so far?
