Blind Date, a Wordsworth Short, is published today!
This is one of the complete stories I discovered recently. It’s one I wrote a long time ago when this kind of twist ending story was all the rage. I’m sure I did send it out, and I mostly got form reject letters, but I remember one editor saying it was a ‘well worn theme’, even though it had more than the usual number of twists in it.
I read it through, thinking it was probably destined for the bin, but I actually quite liked it and it did bring back memories of the type of stories we were having published back in the late 80s and early 90s. So I spruced it up and decided to release it as a Wordsworth Short anyway.
Of course, this means it’s brand-spanking-new.
