Friday 29 November 2024: November wrap-up!

November didn’t go quite as planned.

Grand-doggy #1 didn’t come for a fortnight, but he did come for a few days. All Monkey Dust gigs were cancelled or postponed, so I didn’t have any admin to do for that. The poet was unwell and then I was unwell. And lots of jobs were deleted or moved along.

  1. November was kind of all over the place. There wasn’t enough freelance work, reminding me that I need to focus, early next year, on replacing the client that was my biggest client the past two years with someone who doesn’t make empty promises, but actually coughts up the promised work (and no, I can’t ask for deposits; it’s agency work). So that was an unwelcome reality check, but necessary.

I enjoyed slowing down. I’m tired, and prepping for some good projects in the upcoming year. So I’m going to enjoy the holidays as much as possible.
